Using Vegas PBS children's programming, Ready To Learn conducts workshops that integrate tips for viewing television, literacy strategies, and hands-on activities to extend children's learning at home.

New books are distributed after the workshop, in English or Spanish, to extend the concepts discussed and to help build children's home libraries.
