Dental tip: see your dentist twice a year

Reading For Smiles Workshop
Project History

Proper dental health care during childhood is vital for overall health and self esteem. Follow these tips to keep your child's smile bright and healthy:

Brush at least two times per day.
Supervise your child's brushing to make sure they are brush all tooth surfaces, especially the molars. Don't forget to brush your tongue too!

Make sure each brushing lasts for at least 2 1/2 minutes.
Keep track of the time by playing Barney's "Brushing My Teeth" song while brushing. When the song is over, you are too!

Floss once daily.
Always use an "up and down" motion, never back and forth. Glide the floss along each side of your tooth to remove germs that toothbrushes can't reach.
